Established in Lanzarote in 1775, El Grifo is the oldest winery in the Canary Islands and one of the ten ancient cellars in Spain. In the most unusual, visually striking vineyards seen anywhere on earth, we elaborate wines in which we try to emphasize the terroir singularity and our indigenous varietals: Volcanic Malvasia and Listan Negro.
We will taste four wines: One dry white of Malvasia, one teardrop-Rosé and a red wine of Listan Negro. Finally, we will delight ourselves with an fortified-sweet wine unique in the world, blend of three old vintages: 1957, 1970 and 1970. Cheers!
